자주가는 커피숍에서 어느날 째즈음악이 나왔다. 원래 째즈나오는곳이 아니었는데 째즈음악이 나왔고, 보통 생각하는 그런 째즈음악이 아니었다. 게다가 남자보컬이다. 째즈음악에 잘 아는건 아니지만, 일반 째즈음악보다 좀 더 신났고, 퓨전식이라고 해야하나,,좀 현대식이라고 해야하나..좀 달랐다.
그래서 가수가 누구냐고 물어봤었다. 그렇게 바우터하멜이라는 가수를 처음 알게되었다. 게다가 네덜란드 가수는 처음알게되었다.
여담으로 바리스타분이 그러셨다. 그냥 핫트랙스 째즈 1위라서 산 음반이라고,,,ㅋ 역시 가을 겨울엔 째즈인가보다.

이 앨범은 바우터하멜 1집이다. 2집도 나왔는데, 1집이 더 좋은것같아서 구입했다. 곡은 원래 12곡인데 한국판에디션이라고해서 6곡이 더 추가되었다. 78년생이라기엔 믿기지 않을만큼의 음악성이 풍부하다고 해야할까..어려운째즈를 어린나이에 너무나도 잘 소화해낸것 같았다. 째즈가 어려워서 잘 듣지 않았던 사람이라도, 쉽게 들을 수 있을것 같다. 째즈팝이라는 장르로 불리면서, 대중들에게도 쉽게다가갔던것같다.

이 앨범 전부 다 어렵지않게 편하게 들을수 있는데, 그중에서 제일 추천하는 곡은 "05. Breezy" 곡이다. 강하게 시작하는 피아노와 비트감있는 느낌과 함께 부드러운 그의 목소리가 너무 잘 어울리는 곡이다. 멜로디또한 좋아서 한번에 감이 오실거라 생각 된다. ㅎ
이미 가을은 지나가고 겨울인데, 이 계절에도 너무 잘 어울리는 음반인것 같다.
